Subjective Reality

Further to my "Da Vinci post" I wanted to add tha I really liked what Ron Howard did at the end of the movie. He tries to soften the blow, so to speak regarding the overall message of the movie. The discussion that the characters Langdon and Sophie have at the end regarding faith, and Jesus in general was interesting. I do think that that is what all of this boils down to. Nothing can be proven. None of us know what really happened. No one even knows for certain whether Jesus existed or not. The mythos laid out in Da Vinci is only a small part of the overall mystery. The questions surrounding whether Jesus even died on the cross or not arent introduced to the general public in this book. The details surrounding the Vatican's contributions to Christianity vs. the "true" story is so murky and mysterious that it transcends even what is hinted to in the book. It all boils down to.....Faith.
